Is your tank a bowfront? How did you get the sump under the stand? Did you remove that center brace temporarily?

I ended up dropping it in from the top when my tank was empty, It's a tight fit but I can still get to everything. Yes it is a bow.

Gotcha. I have a 90 gal. bowfront and it has a center brace on the front and back so there is no way for me to fit it under the tank unless I remove one of those braces temporarily. Which scares me to do. So I'm going to set it up to the right of my tank and build some sort of box type cover to hide it.

I have seen plenty of rubbermaids used as sumps, but never baffled up like this. what were you planning on using for baffles?

The problem I see is a qt in the sump would defeat the purpose. Unless you were using it to store problem child fish and not sick or new fish?

I also don't know how well the silicone and plexi will stick to the rubbermaid container.

The QT tank won't have any flow to or from it unless I manually do it. I would pump water to it when I needed too, then use it as the qt tank, and after the qt is over, syphon it all out.
