should i disconect my protien skimmer

    Greetings, i brought home a hippo tang that ended up getting ich, I also have a rusty angel that got it also. My cleaner shrimp isn't keeping up so I started using ich attack, my questions are should the skimmer be off so it doesn't clean the medicine out of the water and I was thinking of adding a cleaner wrasse but wasn't sure...any help would be appreciated

    protein skimmer off!!!! double the dose of stress coat.. feed garlic soaked food to boost imune system. hippo's are nitorious for getting ick! you can also do a fresh water dips.

    I've been treating for seven days but the skimmer has been on. So add stress coat pluss double doss ich attack.. how long do you think
