I have 180gal. reef with only soft coral. my ph is 8.0 my alk must be 0 . the last color on red sea test is a pee green. mine is almost clear. my cal. is really low 175 . I just started to use Mrs. wages pickling lime. I not sure if this cause the drop in ph and alk. I have been reading Randy holmes-farley and on his graph , it looks like iam zone 2 . this graph is on solving cal and alk problems. Its called Advanced Aquarist online magazine. my question is can i keep dosing lime water to raise cal. plus maybe baking soda to raise alk at the same time. also when i mix lime water i also add epsom salt to the lime water . Are you suppose to do them sep.? thanks chris003
