normal as in everything perfect (not listing them all, i use API), he had a couple ghost shrimp today, not sure how old he is (about a foot?), had him about a month, he's a cat shark/bamboo shark/banded cat shark

now he's laying on the bottom and he is breathing very fast

125g and we just run the skimmer... could he not be getting enough oxygen? everyone else is fine (v.lion, humahuma, niger, herms, urchin, sailfin, damsels)

That's a lot of fish with a 1 foot shark, it is rather large for that size tank IMO, got a pic of your set-up?

It means it can coincide with Sostoudt's comments, if a fish it too large for a tank it would not be uncommon for him to get stressed and die or it could have been a lack of oxygen. Might have been the ghost shrimp though, I really don't know that much about sharks but I have always been told it's not that good of an idea to feed a saltwater fish freshwater feeder fish/shrimp.

any unusual bulges or lumps(tumor like) on the sharks.

have you recently treated the tank with anything

feeding live food is bad for any fish salt or fresh, they can contain parasites and are kinda a poor in nutrition when compared to formulated foods that are sold in stores.

goldfish are particularily bad, all bone and scale that frequently clogs a fishes digestive system
