    sere puttng it in our hosue that we are building. the house is scheduled to be done later next year so building is going to start within six months. or so. so we dont have much info on the tank. not any solid dimensions.

    ill probably have some massive halides over the thing so ill put some coral in there. it would cost a fortune to fill the thing so were not gonna. just a few pieces here and there and maybe some sps where theres enough light but probably mostly softies and lps maybe a nem or two.

    at firsti w thinking los of fish and sharks. now im thinking mostly sharks and rays and the tang school. and a few other fish here and there

    we planned the whole tank so it will not have a canopy, it will just be accessed from the floor above it. will there be any downsides to having it set up this way?

    Actually you're wrong. I live here in Southern California and people catch them of the pier all the time. There is actually a guy who does this and sells them to the whole seller's to make extra money.

    like all sharks they have a very large range. spanning from indonesia to california

    Yep. But they are also caught on the coast as well (which you said they weren't). So I wanted to let you know that they are found there on a regular basis. And I do think they would do just fine in the temp range you suggested.

    yes as stated they are used to fluctuating temps.

    nurses are the slower growers of sharks, due to there relaxed attitude for the most part. yes they do grow big, but i dont think it'll be that much of a problem as they sit on the bottom for a while.

    Also, do NOT go by how ONE angel acts, because all are different.

    im also curios as to what the other choices for shark will be.
