Well my new SEIO 620 pump is up and running.  It started right up with out any rattles or noise.  Seems to start right up even after turning the power on and off.  It moves alot of water at 620gph however,  the discharge nozzle is very large so there is not  alot of pressure behind it.  I have it in my 120g tank (60" long)
and it seems to move a good stream of water 3/4 across the tank.  Its rated at 8watts so its very efficient.
To get a more powerful jet of water you can remove the directional nozzle and get a stronger more compact flow from it.  It comes with several attachments for mounting on your tank as well a water flow control that is easy to use. The pump is well made with a ceramic rotor impeller and it has a heavy 3 prong grounded cord.  Hope this is helpful!
