I had my plans all set & ready for a 75g reef. But since then I have decided to have a 29g instead, as it will be better for the long-run. In a few years after college, I will get a bigger tank. :)

So here it is, but in a smaller glass box. BTW, this will be a long thread, so please bear with me. :p

The tank the other day just after water change.

Currently I don't have much in the tank, which is actually good, as far as the build goes. Here's what I do have.

    -1 Coral beauty angel(R.I.P.)
    -1 8" bristle worm
    -a pretty dilapidated CUC

What would you suggest I do with livestock until I am ready to put them back in?

    I would like to add:

    -1 Coral Beauty angel
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Coral Beaty Agelfish Dwarf Angels
    -2 Yellow Stripe clingfish
    https://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15 31 1483&pcatid=1483
    -1 Court Jester goby
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Court Jester Goby
-I like this Horned blenny too. What do you think?
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Horned Blenny
    -2 Pacific Cleaner Shrimp
Saltwater Aquarium Shrimps for Marine Reef Aquariums: Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

I also want a flame scallop & one or two clams.

    Equipment list

-Lighting: Wavepoint 24” T5 HO 4-lamp Retrofit Kit
marineandreef.com Reef Aquarium Supply (Aquarium Lighting, Coralife light, Aquarium Light, Aquarium Pumps, Coralife lighting, Reef Aquarium, JBJ Nano Cube, protein skimmer, JBJ Arctica, AquaticLife T5 HO, Oceanic BioCube, Red Sea Max, Fluval Edge Aqu
-Powerheads: Hydor Koralia Nano 425 (x2)
Water Pumps & Wavemakers: Hydor Koralia Nano 240 & 425
    -Return Pump: Eheim 1250
Water Currents and Movement in Aquariums: Eheim Hobby Pumps
    -Power Supply: Power Center Digital
Aquarium Light Timers: Coralife Power Center
    -Reactor: Simplicity UV-Catalytic Reactor
Aquarium Filter Fluidized Bed Reactor: Magnavore Simplicity UV-Catalytic Reactor
-RODI: BRS 6 Stage RO/ DI Unit

[FONT=&quot]There will be a 10g fuge with a return section.

Here are my plans for the stand...

I will skin the current stand with bead-board & then trim it. Also, cut out a hole in the left side for another door.

    front

    side
    [IMG]

A matching side cabinet. This will be in two sectoins(top & bottom) to make it easier when I move. The top section will fit inside the trim off the bottom section.

Side Note....I designed this so if I wanted I could have just the stand & canopy, or have the stand canopy & side cabinet together (to look like one unit) for more storage.

    Canopy

This groove will allow me to take the light fixture out of the canopy to change bulbs.

The fixture will be installed to this board rather than just the top[inside] if the canopy. The two wholes are to help with air circulation.

I think that's about it for now.:)

    Questions, comments, concerns are welcome.

That will not be enough rock. It is a bout 8 lbs. I want to add 20 lb of dry rock.

Yes, media, goes into the media reactor. :)

what type of media? bio pellets?

also I don't know if you have enough flow for sps with only 2 400 gph powerheads.

I thought I would, but you may be right. 2, 425's is only = 23x water volume.

    3 should do it.
