the way I see it, on 3reef, it's all "in my experience" (at best). Now, that's awesome, don't get me wrong.

But I haven't found a thread where someone actually went through this and continued to post even after failure/success.

Now hopefully, OP will as he has stated more than once. I will accept his word on that.

In the end, success or failure, we'll have an actual thread updated with pics to show an example of someone who tried a specific scenario and succeeded or failed.

It's going to happen - I've just accepted that little tidbit and moved on. Looking past that, I'm glad we'll have an actual thread to point to as an example.

I don't think it's a good idea to put seahorses in a reef tank, now that you do have them in there I hope that they do well now and in the future.

Ok change of plans Looks like I will be home late tonight. Here are some quick update photo's. Bare with me my sump is really low on water and I get lot's of air bubbles when that happens. ro/di is pumping as we speak. Also not all my lights have kicked on yet.

I have noticed that the searhorse in the lower left sitting on the sand bed looks like his skin color has lightened up.

Sea Horse adjust thier color to their surrondings. I have several that have
gone from Dark brown/black to a light Gold to match some Phony Kelp plants
I have in there with them.

When I pull the plants out to clean them, if I leave the out for a week or two
they start to go back to black rather quickly to match the rocks.

They also change color due to whats going on around them, if the lights are
off they will tend to look lighter when the lights come on.

I know, I'd love to have them too. Im thinking of getting a biocube so I can have some. Gotta lot of research to do before I do tho.

your setups are very nice and clean looking. Love the sump. Thanks for the pics.

Are you going to transfer the frags from your DT to the new frag tank and let them grow out a bit or just get new frags for your new frag tank?
