    I have a sea hare in my tank at the moment munching on all the brown algae i have while my tank cycles, got it free with my live rock,they never stop eating, soon as the algae depletes i will be donateing it back to the lfs,but they are great for what you want while its there...

    cant you just supplement feed them once your algae is gone? throw a chunk of seaweed on a veggie clip. thats what i have to do for my abalone

    my seahare eats film alge,diotoms,red slime ,green slime and hair alge oh and one of the few things i have found to eat briopsis alge.it helps to have atleast 6 large tanks to move them through so they dont starve.

    oh also cover all powerhead and simmilar intakes they always find them if you dont just like anemonies.

    My sea hare is eating the algae really fast, thats all he's doing eating eating eating, also' he's tripled in size in 2 weeks, growing very fast, how big do these get?

    Sea hare.

    Do not get more than one. will eat algae quickly. May have to supplement feedings with one one.
