Thanks, that's what I figured. I was doing some reading on them but could find that definitive number.

Do you know what can keep my sand bed nice and white, other than cleanings? Something to hell me in-between water changes.

Nassarius snails are about it. You could do a fighting conch but it would need supplemental feeding in your nano which is counter productive. Your best bet is to keep a low bioload and nutrient level. This is the only thing that works as even the best "cleaners" are no majic wand.

I had three nassarius snail, but now I'm down to one. My sand just looks dingy to me. I want it white, then again I'm boarder line OCD. I like things very neat and together...lol thanks I have looked at conches... And believe I will give one a try. Thanks.

They need a fairly deep sandbed so keep that in mind.

Thanks for all your help Vinny. I'll keep that in mind. I believe I will just try to be a little more diligent with my sand cleaning and see how that looks for now.

Be careful Cody. Don't clean to deep, just the surface of the sand, otherwise you'll defeat the purpose of the sand bed all together.

Thanks for the info, last time I cleaned it I stirred it up to much and had nitrate spike. This is why I'm kinda searching for something that will do most of the work and I will just have to kinda touch up per say.
