    I guess it is the 3/4" version Matt. I'd like to see it working in person someday. If they come out with the 1" version I might get one to replace the DIY mave maker I got. I hope it is quiet and head loss in it is small.

    Yeah, your tank might require some heavy duty hardware - try a jaquzzi store! ;D But for most tanks, this thing may be it. I can't wait to use it. Other than it seems well built and make a nice kazoo when you blow in it, can't say anything yet. Stay tuned!

    Actually Matt I tried putting round nozzles on to my six return lines, they turned my tank into a tornado zone, so my current Mag 24 and wave maker are fine. I just like the simplitity of the SCWD and think the head loss on it may be less than my three-way ball valve. Can you see inside of the device? Is the opening on either side 100% or is the flow going to be very restricted in it?

    I took the nozzles off for now since the sand has not matured.

    I just put it under a light and one side is 100% open unless I keep blowing in the intake, this causes things to whir around and block one side or the other.
