Hope I post this in the right sub-fourm, as I took the rim off of my biocube yesterday I noticed that I scratched the glass. Now it's a small scratch, but my fingernail catches it. I believe the saw blade I used to cut threw the plastic caught it on accident..... So, I'm just curious if there is something out there that will rid the scratch. I'm slightly OCD,lol, so now I just see these 3 small scratches..... It's as if only 3 teeth touched the glass...... I used a towel but obviously it slipped past it on this corner..... I have tried toothpaste but nothing else..... I'm wondering if a windshield repair kit might work?

I dont think will find something in LFS to repair glass scratches, but try to look into automotive world.... there are lots of things there to remove scratches from windshields and polish / renew headlights.
PS - even if find something, try it out on a scrap piece of glass first before mess up with the tank :)

there is a powder i believe people in the jewelry business use...... it will polish the scratches out but the process is a MAJOR pita.... also you need certain tools.... let me see if i can find the video....

Not something I would attempt with a tank full of water.

Thanks for video, I looked it up.... And yes Vinny you are right. I will see if I can fix it with a glass repair kit from auto zone.

I mean it's truly not bad at all... And you can't even see it if I don't point it out, but that's all I see.... Lol.
