    How often should you change your sand bed and when you change it, do you change all of it or a specific portion?

    You don't change your sandbed, you maintain it to keep it clean and healthy. A neglected sandbed can nuke your tank if disturbed.

    never! Just get some nassarius snails (how big is your tank) to keep your sandbed stirred up. If you disturb an established sandbed, it will nuke the tank and release a gas that will kill everything
