Sand and Plants?

    I accidently bought black sand for my new tank. Thought it was going to be saltwater but made up my mind on a freshwater planted fish tank. So now I am wondering if I can even use the sand I bought.

    Think I could maybe mix it with flourite? Or something that plants can grow in?

    I'd say yeah you probably could use it, just rise it really really good first. Anyone else???
