Should I rinse the filter sponge or scrub algae off the walls with my mag float while the tank is cycling.? Or should I leave Everything alone?

You can scrub if you want, I just wait till the tank is fully cycle then scrub. Leave the sponge alone.

My advice to you is read, read, read and read some more about the hobby. When I was getting ready to set up my first tank I read everything I could get my hands on reguarding salt water aquariums. I still read about them so as I can keep myself up to date on new equipment and ideas,;D
