salinity rising

    ive been noticing the last couple of weeks that by the end of the week my salinity has risen a bit i have a n automatic top of system i do have a lot of evaporation in my tank due to mh lighting and general evaporation..ive even tried putting very little salt in my top off tank and it hasnt helped very much...so it has led me to do bigger water changes than normal any help would be great thanks

    You don't need to add salt to your top offs. This is the reason why your salinity is rising. When topping off just add ro/di water only.

    salt does not evaporate. top off with freshwater only.
