    and not to be insensitive but if it still smells ok, have you considered grilling it? It would be a shame to waste it.

    People do eat Tridacna [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] [/FONT]clams. If I had it I would actually try it, but I would only want it fresh. btw I really meant no ill will in my comment.

    But I can't smell very well, so I can't guarantee how good it actually is :D
