Rust in tank! Help! 3 gallon only!

    so i have a custom lit with open metal (screws) and water hit it obviously and a water drop full of rust fell in my 3 gal pico! what do i do! and how can i waterproof the screws?

    Put a dab of silicon on them. It will keep water off of them and be easy to pull of if you ever need.

    Iron is in natural saltwater. The rust won't hurt anything.

    Agreed. Artificial reefs are made from iron boats, so it can't be that bad.

    As for water proofing the screw, swap it for a stainless steel one.
