Running power cord along the tank edge. How to secure?

I like the look of the cord running along the edge of the tank in this picture from ecotech marine site:



Any idea what's the best way to secure that cord in place there?

 

A tiny dab of silicone, superglue or some clear double sided tape would be my go to choices.

Double sided tape would probably be best I think.

 

I use a lot of these type things. They come in various styles and can usually be found at like Walgreens/CVS. Like black. I like this sort of solution bc you can easily remove the cable if you need to for maintenance or something
