Yup, clown fish grunt and some chirp and click. I will get some audio and video of mine doing it. Pink skunk clowns are known for being the best chirppers though.

My clowns actually sound more like a pistol shrimp.

Yea my mini maxi did the same thing after I moved him (he did not want to be moved) did it about 3 times - that I saw

very good looking bta i hope mine will look like that one day mine bleached out when i got it but it is coming back slowly. and mine dont seem to like bubbling its tentacles but oh well

i have 2 rbta and over the years have wittnessed the 'smoking' you're describing. really freaked me out the first time i saw it, that was pre-forum days so i asked my lfs about it and they looked at me like i was crazy! any way never had any negitive effects from it and they are as healthy as ever

 

I freaked out also until fellow members said it was spawning and then I saw the You Tube video so I pretty much was relieved. So far it has been stable therefore I am happy.
