    this is the colony in wich my critters are living in ... and im still tryin to get a good picture also...thanks everyone

    it looks just like one them beetles everyone calls rolly pollies. the ones that curl up into a ball when scared. thats the best way to describe it... and there are only 2 that i have seen... and they love to have store bought shrimp.. i think im goin to have to plant some in this colony to get a pic. i can tell u this though..... they fasssssssssssst lil buggers.

    very similar to that yes pack.... however i did the bait an pic thing... didnt work.. between what ever it is and a couple tube worm things they fought over the piece of shrimp i placed in and mater of seconds all bait is gone...

    Well, the pics I posted are isopods, which are bad bad bad news charlie. They are parasitic, and could be what you thought was the ich outbreak that caused the die-off you had.

    how do you get rid of Isopods do they sell traps or better yet a DIYer!!!
