You might need to run a booster pump setup in order to get the pressure up to the 65psi point in order for the RODI unit to function at its max capacity. Also are your filters new and unclogged?

How many gallons have you made though? you could have made 1000+ gallons each time you used it for all we know? Filters are dirty when they are dirty not based on the number of times you use them.

Two things have a major effect on RO output, water pressure and water temperature. The 90 GPD is based on 60 psi and 77 degree F water temp. If either or both are lower it will produce less, if they are highre it will produce more but be very cautious with temperature. It is best to use cold water no matter what the temperature is, anything over 113 degrees will melt a membbrane in heartbeat so don't try to blend hot and cold or warm the water.

A booster is probably your best bet if all you have is 40 psi, thats the bare bones minimum they recommend to make water and it will not be anywhere near the 98+% rejection rate that low so DI life will be shorter.

Have you tested and adjusted the waste ratio to 4:1 as recommended? Too much waste can reduce your presure to the membrane cutting production too.

Spectrapure has all of their Owners Manuals available on their website here:
    SPECTRAPURE MANUALS

Find you system in the RO/DI section then look in the manual, it will walk you through the process step by step.
They are also a good source for a Aquatec 8800 booster pump as found here:
