can you please give me pics of your RO unit like where all the tubes and stuff are running from the different filters and which way the flows are going

 

our unit is a bit different

why couldnt these people make better directions

 

after leaving the vertical cylinder on left, it goes thru the 4 way thingy (Auto Shut Off) it goes to the side of RO chamer with 1 pipe place. Then it goes to the other side of 4 way thingy. after passing thru DI, it goes to the inline carbon thing. (thats in the back) then that water is pure. The other line coming off RO chamber is waste, that goes to drain

 

Ill talk more tomorrow, gotta go to sleep cause im teaching Bible school to 4th grader tomorrow. (<-------not my idea, talk to parents)

Well i got it set up.

I have the same RO/DI unit as you from purewaterclub. I'll copy and paste my install pics of it for you from my build page.

Its really pretty simple to set up once you understand how it works. Let me know if you have any questions...

It is hooked directly to my RO/DI fillerts auto shut off.

My RO/DI unit is hard plumbed under setup under my kitchen sink. I didn't want to drill any holes in my kitchen cabinets, and my tank is only about 5' from the RO/DI unit so I did this:


The auto shut off is the square small box right above where it says "Revere Osmosis" When the float valve closes, it creates back pressure and cause the auto shut off to shut off flow though the filter and it also shuts the drain off.


I used a "T" to go to the float valve in my sump, then put a stright valve in so I could still use the RO/DI unit to fill up my 30 gallon rubber made tub for mixing water.


This pic shows where the 1/4 hose tucks between the cabinet and door.


This pic shows where the hose goes from underneaths the cabinet to my tank stand on the left. I used "L's" to and little 3M adheisive wire holder things to hold the hose tight to the cabinet and wall.


This pic shows where I hooked the drain line from the RO/DI unit into the drain of the kitchen sink.


This is how I hooked the supply line for the RO/DI unit to the cold water supply for my kitchen sink.
