If I am buulding building a 48 long 24 deep 12 high rimless tank what glass thickness would I need to use?
Ive looked online and I see suggestions from 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2.
Thinking half inch to be safe?

    I built a 3'x4' x14"(12" water) tank, 1/2" works fine. I think 3/8" will bow.

Given it's only 12" deep, you probably could get away with 3/8". But 1/2" is certainly safer.
