Helloo all. I made an order today from coral morphologic for a few ricordea. I've never kept ric's before, and i've wanted a cool one for awhile. So I'm pretty pumped! I was curious as to the placement of these? What's the best spot? Like low on a rock or sand or what?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Hey congrats.

Mine I have always kept low and on an angle, in the rock work.

I always had issues with them leaving the rock or plug if I put them in too direct of lighting.

Ricordia are so beautiful, what colors did you get?

Mine seemed to prefer mid tank/ mid to lighter flow. I have one on bottom I been trying at different spots and just just seem to find the response I do compared to the others.

I keep mine at the bottom of the rocks and mounted vertically as they are found at sea.

Okay thanks yall. I was prettyyy sure most ppl put theirs on the sand, but I was reading the directions on how to attach the ric's to LR on the Coral Morphologic site. So I wasn't exactly sure. I hope they get here this week!

I think I have the perfect spot picked for them so well see :) I love them too. I've been thinking about getting a few for a longgg while. I wish I would've saved the pics of the ones I bought, I can't seem to pull them back up on the site since they were WYSIWYG. But one of them is this crazy looking pink morph that I really love, then another once thats silverish. The pink one is the more expensive of the two. The silver was just a little cheapy one I threw in there, but its pretty sweet.

Coral Morphologic has some pretty good prices for how cool they ric's look, at least to me haha. I wish I enough money to get a few of those st thomas mushrooms, but maybe next time :)
