I'd like to see if someone can give me an in-depth descriptive (maybe some pics) showing the primary differences between Florida and Yuma Ricordea?

Things I'd like to know are differences in growth, structure, coloration, texture, etc.

I'm trying to decide on what to get, but some insight would be beneficial.

Other then the fact one comes from the carribean (florida) and one from the pacific(yuma), there are numerous differences between, but mostly appearance and colorations. Ricordea Floridas have a uniform appearance of "bubbles" on their oral disk with no bubbles on their mouth, whereas Ricordia Yumas have no regular appearance of "bubbles" on their oral disk and they will also have bubbles on their mouths. The typical colors of Ricordea Florida are Green, Blue, Orange, and sometimes a mixture of all of the the colors mentioned. Ricordia Yuma's can come in all the colors of the rainbow and then some. Yumas are higher priced usually per polyp, more desirable by appearance in most cases, and no where near as hardy as their caribbean cousins.

Thank you kindly. With that knowledge, I've ordered a Florida from my LFS. Really appreciate you taking the time to post the info.

Much brighter colors and more $$$$$$$$$$$ sometimes

The bubbles go up and down the mouth column on the Yuma and Florida do not
