Resolved Remove Astapia ....or ...?

yep definatly aiptasia,like the others said-get rid of it or it will spread rapidly.

 

i have been trying to get rid of this huge rock anemone that i have and i aiptasia x'd it twice and its still alive. They tend to hide or shrink back into the rock when you try to blast them> Kind of a pain

 

i bought this stuff called "aiptasia control" comes with syringe and bottle...all it takes is one drop and it works like a dream.

 

MikeHVAC where did you get this "aiptasia control"

 

Another possibility is a butterfly. I had a little bit of it starting to grow. So i found a butterfly i liked and she now eats out of my hand and has removed the aiptasia.

 

Ya you gotta be good at getting as close to the mouth so it gets a good mouthfull of the stuff then boom! =)
