My tank is a month and a half old with DIY rock. Just last week diotams started growing on the rocks. Now it's almost everywhere. I know this isn't bad, not pretty but not a bad thing. Soo what comes next? Coraline?...I hope...

Green hair algae outbreak :) At least that is what happened in my tanks!

I was actually going to edit my post to include, but forgot. Thanks for picking up my slack!

It took 2-3 months for each of my tanks to get through GHA & Cyano.

Coraline could still be awhile out before showing up. I'd assume cyano and gha next as stated above. It could be a year before your tank is completely stable. I'm on month 7 and am still getting patches of gha and cyano. When I get new fish I start over feeding to make sure the new adds are eating, fueling algae outbreaks... DOAH!

I have cyano and my overflows are completely covered with coralline. Tank seems healthy. I'm sure this will pass.

I just get little patches of cyano and gha now. Coraline is starting to take in my sump/fuge and in shaded areas. I can see how in a years time from now it will be a pain to keep off the areas I dont want it :)

I have set up tanks before and had coraline growing within a month.
