Reef Safe & Clam Safe Fish

    Well I didn't see any type of list of these when I searched so let's have it. If you've got experience with clams and had fish that didn't bother them let's hear it. My goal here is to have a list of fish commonly housed with clams so that anyone looking to buy a clam can see here if their fish will play nice. I'll update list in this post for easy checking.

    6 line's or other wrasses in that genus are great to have with clams as they will actively clean and kill any parasites that bother them

    Theres no list bc the list would be way to long. There are list thou for non-reef safe fish

    clownfish are safe. im tired and cant think of too much else right now. srry

    I've seen non-reef safe lists, but some on the reef safe list aren't clam safe.

    What fish have you seen that are reef safe (not semi-reef safe) and not clam compatible?

    So if it's reef safe it won't nip @ clams? I thought I read on here that some "reef safe" were'n actually. No?
