"Reef Buds" in the Philippines.

Someone's using DIY reef rocks to rebuild REAL reefs.... cool idea, but too little too late in this situation perhaps?

At least they realized they had nearly blasted themselves out of a living, stopped and went to work trying to repair what they had done. That was a good watch, thanks for posting it.

 

That's a pretty good idea. If only they had thought of it sooner.

I actually don't think that it's ever too late to do something positive.

Remember the Indonesian Tsunami from a couple of years ago. Scientists now say that the Tsunami wouldn't have created the damage that it did had they not dynamited the barrier reefs into oblivion. Now they are using Reef Balls to rebuild the reefs. http://www.reefball.com/map/indonesia.htm
