Redtail shark and ecoccomplete

    Since I'm told cory cats will be torn up on ecocomplete how about the redtail shark as scaveger?

    I don't know how much redtails really scavenge, I haven't had one in many, many years. I can tell you that any catfish scavenger is going to have problems on large-grained substrate, while scaly fish shouldn't have a problem.

    Also, you gotta love keeping extinct species in a tank ;D

    redtail should be a fine scavenger, sometimes theyre a little more aggressive
    i have rainbow sharks and 3 of the 4 seem to eat anything that sinks

    I don't think they will have problems with eco-complete. only a small portion of the bag is rocks the rest is basically dirt.
