    Hey All,
I've never been happy with my 75G turned sump with 6 baffles that really never held water and where too high.
I misjudged the hight of each baffle when I first built it so it wasn't ideal.
Anyway. Yesterday I cut out all the baffles and cleaned out all the old silicone. Then with shorter baffles I just installed 2. I used the silicone you can buy at the LFS.

It says 48 hours to completely cure. But I'm wondering if I could add water after 24 hours.
    Any Ideas?

    +1 to ^^^

FTR, I generally wait twice the recommended time just to be safe.

From experience I would say you are fine after 24 hours - especially with a baffle. But for the record, follow instructions is always best! ;)

Thanks all. I've never waited 48 hours before usually just 24. But I've never used this particular product.

Well just to close this off. I filled the sump with water at about the 24 hours mark and fired it up. It's been another 24hour and all is good.
Keep in mind this is a FOWLR.

    Thanks all for your help
