Resolved Red bubble algae?

    Got this weird red bubble algae looking stuff. Had it for almost a year hasn't really spread but three bubbles have gotten bigger I think. They are about the size of a large pea. Any idea what they are.

    that is weird. from the picture, it almost looks like a bta to me.

    Oh ok...so there is such thing as red bubble algae. Is it just as volatile as the green if popped?
