Hello everyone. I was looking for some recommendations for new T5 lights for my 36" - 6 tube fixture.
I bought one of those cheaper T5 light fixtures off eBay with the digital timer on it.
As I read after buying it, the lights they come with don't last long. I have had this one running on my 65 gallon tank for about 4 months now and already the original bulbs seem to have lost some output.
I hear a lot of talk about the ATI bulbs but I have no idea what spectrum to get them in,...how many whites, blues , and possibly purples.
Anyone have some 6 bulb suggestions?
I currently have some zoas in my tank as well as a devils hand, and a couple anonomes, a couple gorgonians, and a favia frag.
    There are fish as well.
Thanks for any help on the matter.
Heres a side shot of the tank currently. Seems too white to me.

I was just recommended this combination for a 4 light fixture.

    ATI Blue Plus
    ATI Purple Plus
    ATI Aquablue Special
    ATI Coral Plus

Not sure what you would do with the other 2

    Ordered bulbs

OK, after reading other posts here I just ordered all new ATI T5's.
    I got 3 Coral Plus,
    2 Blue Plus,
1 True Actinic ( because it says it enhances the color of livestock.)
    Any thoughts?
So when I get them I need to change them out slowly as to not shock corals?

Pretty good mix. It's hard to go wrong with roughly even doses of coral plus and blue plus plus or minus a bit of actinic.

Which colors do you think should come on an hour before the others?
