    yeah i feel ya. i would definitely explore the possibilities though. if you REALLY want one without risk why dont you do what i did? pick up a JBJ PicoTope, 5 lbs of sand, water and rock (or PVC) from your existing tank. no cycle, or a mini one, and you have yourself a mantis tank for about 60 bucks! then you need the mantis hehe

    I have a bad feeling your puffer would get curious, and then get smacked silly or worse.. mantis is not a creature to mess with..

    very true, i wonder if i keep my puffer well fed and make sure his teeth are filed down low that if he does attack it wont be so bad?

    lol im still working on it :D im extremely addicted to my tank kind of like smokers to cigarettes, alcoholics to alcohol, druggies to drugs, you get the idea :D
