    I have a poly reactor with biopellets to get rid of my nitrates and the hair algae....so far it has not gone away but is no longer taking over my tank it's only been two weeks. Is there a different combination? Can I add carbon too? or would I need to get another reactor? just curious I am looking to get rid of all my HOB and get a sump soon. In the meantime I am using a canister filter because it's loaded wiht carbon.
