So I would like to raise my salinity from 1.024 to 1.026 via top off method. How salty should the water be? Obviously the saltier the faster the sg in the tank will rise. But does anyone have a good starting point. I don't want it to happen over night.

Not sure if it's the best method... but I have the ATO water at the salinity I am aiming for.

when i have done it, i mix salt as normal and then use that as my ATO water instead of fresh. That way it is a very slow rise in SG. When it gets to where it should be then i replace the ATO water with fresh. Depending on how much you need to come up and how fast your tank evaporates will determine the rate of rise.
