In a 29g that has 18" in height, - More so light to sand would be about 17"... Would 4x 32W T5HO Be enough to support a maxima clam on the middle to top region of the tank?

Im gonna say put it at the top first if its to much move him down. Just start at the high end and work your way down till you find a spot u like him and a spot were he likes it. Id say no more than half way down though

If you keep the clam middle to top it should be plenty. But also important is calcium!

I'm no clam expert but I'd say yes as long as you are using quality bulbs, reflectors and fans. I'd try it anyhow, you can always send me the clam if it doesn't work out. ;D

Keep in mind that they can get pretty big. If it does well, it will outgrow a 29.

Yes, that amount of t5ho would easily support any clam.

In the wild some are fairly deep, to the point that the PAR levels where they naturally live would be a lot lower than you might imagine.
