    Hey guys. As most of you no i have the nano tank setup and i am wondering if I was to buy another HOB small filter, take the cartridge out and place live sand and chaeto will that work?

    I think the biggest problem with that is 1: you need to get light into the filter for the algae to grow, and 2: your flow rate would need to be lowered to allow the algae to do it's job.
