I'm going to be going LED in the next month or two. Here is my question: I have a 4 ft long tank 4 x 2 x 2 , would this single 32" fixture cover my tank?

    Looks like a nice light.

I would think the 90degree, or 120 degree would cover your tank well with 1 light.

I agree and I believe I've seen Logan with Reef Breeders say that a 32" light over a 48" tank will work. I bought a value fixture over the summer for my 20 gallon with plans to buy another one for the 55 gallon (48'') that I have lying around. That gives me 32" of light too.

yeah and it is programmable. That's the cool part, I think. I wanted to go with a single programmable fixture rather than 2 of them and trying to get them to sync up perfectly.

It sure would! think about it this way, you have about 8" of tank on each side of the fixture when it is hung over the middle of the tank. We are hoping to get these out for late December/early january.

Right, that 8 inches of tank on either side was my concern.

that's fine, the light will spread just fine and create some lower lights areas for corals that need it;)

So it's official. I will be going with the 32" fixture, around the first of the year. (xmas has me broke)

Is your tank going to be mainly SPS or more mixed?

Also, how programmable is this fixture? Can you describe the main features and how you found setting it up and getting it dialed in? Thanks
