It would make a good qt, but at 100 dollars it seems like a lot.

But how much would a t5 fixture cost to put on a small quarantine if I were to buy a reg tank and then buy lights, heater, filter?

I have sucessfully run a qt tank with a 10 or 20 gallon tank from walmart, thats about 20/30 bucks or look on craig's list in your area, they always have cheap fw tanks for sale. I think craig's list is one of the best places to find great deals. You could probably find someone who has the filter and heater with the tank for the same as the tank at walmart. I have seen small t5s in my area for under 50, times are tight and people are selling stuff for crazy cheap. The nano is good if you want all in one convienence, but I am one cheap person.
