QT before setup is finished?

    I'm not sure where to put this question, so I'm putting it in this forum since it pertains to fish.

    I am finishing the final touches before mixing and adding saltwater. Can I go ahead and get a QT going with 2 O Clowns in it so that they will be through QT'ing shortly after the cycle?

    No, but I know I will have to cycle it first. That was going to be my next question. I know I need a small airstone and large pvc to hide in and a hang on filter. What kind of filter media and type of filter? Can I just get one of the filters that walmart sells and put the correct media for SW QT in it?
