Hey guys , just wondering if there both safe, if ones better? and if the glue is alright in our reef systems.
Also i was curious about the exposure to our lights. If anyone has any long term experience with either, thanks in advance guys.

Both are safe. While Cpvc is rated for potable water, pvc is not its not an issue until water temp goes over 140 degrees which hopefully your tank won't. . The diameters are different so once you choose, you will need to stick with your choice. You will generally have a harder time finding cpvc fittings and I'd venture to guess the vast majority of reefers, like myself, use pvc. Not aware of any issues with light exposure .
