Putting salt creep back in the tank

    should you or shouldnt you? I have some creep from some seams in my plumbing that crust off, should i put it back in the tank?

    I usually just throw it in the sump.

    It'll burn corals if it lands on them. Beyond this, no concerns.

    I just add to the sump water check your salinity as usual

    when I add it back I make sure my salinity needs the boost first, then I scoop out a gallon or so of water and stir it up and dump in the first sump chamber to let it mix before returning to the DT

    I use a small spray bottle set on mist and just spray it down...runs right back into my tank fully diluted :)

    ok thanks, i threw it in the sump, just wasnt sure if during it being evaporated from water, or other way around, if some new molecule formed or something. Thanks guys, just eased my mind.
