I was hoping you guys could help. I read a post awhile ago about people mounting corals (specifically monti's) to the back wall/glass of their display tank. My question is what is the best way? I imagine it will be tough to get super glue to stick.:-/

If you're going to do something like that, why not use frag mags?

    Aqua-Mags

If not, I'd think that superglue would work better than epoxy but I'm just guessing.

A lot of people get good results using superglue gel and is best done by draining the tank enough that the site you want the corals to be attached to becomes exposed, dry the area with paper towel and dab the coral around the area to be glued, then add a small amount of the gel. Hold the coral in place for a few seconds and it should be attached.

Standard superglue isn't thick enough to work properly.

The frag mags work really well. We've got a few sps frags on them in our tank and are waiting to see how they grow out on them.

the frag rack is cool looking! I have seen a rock magnet at a frag swap but ti was MUCH MORE expensive.

What I did is attached the monti to one of hte cheap mag cleaners with epoxi and placed it on the back of the tank..but will def get some of those!
