Pump size/overflow size?

    I saw the link you posted just now and it looks like a pump i use for mixing water, and for water changes. it is terrible if any head is added.

    Oh well. It was cheap, so I pounced on it. Won't hurt to have another power-head around.

    How about a mag 5 or 7 for your return? i have the 7 on my 40 gallon and its great, it has more than enough flow. so I also run my reactor with it.

    I tested this pump out and it pumped at a 6 foot head through about 8-10 feet of line. I think this should be fine. I'll know more when I get a properly fitting tubing and cut it too the right length and observe the flow in the system.
