Within a week of bringing home a healthy specimen; It's already spreading to adjacent rocks. I'd like to frag the pieces and move the main one around my tank to get the same result. What should I do? Take a new razor blade and cut desired trunk? Advice would be much appreciated. Pics available if need be.

Xenia is pretty hardy if your water quality is right.
I would think to myself; "how much do i really like this stuff?"
I'm pretty sure you could just cut a stalk and paste it to a rock with marine cement and it would be fine... have i deduced correctly??

I'd like to just cut the stalks that are already attached to adjacent rocks and move main piece around tank. I'd also like to hook my buddy up with some frags if I can get it to attach to smaller pieces of rock. I don't want to get into pulling it out, cutting and glueing til' it gets to be a nuisance which, I've heard is a possibility with Xenia.
