    It's about time to clean out my pump, and my question is: how do I get the pump off of the skimmer? Do I just pull or do I loosen something up? I don't want to break it because my husband will freak if I have to buy the new cone skimmer ::)

    The pipe from pump to skimmer has a threaded coupler on it. Just unscrew and do the same where it attaches to the pump.
