I use 6 K4's and 6 Coralvue High Seas. I highly recommend the K4's over the High Seas.

Just got a K-nano a few days ago. Way better than the jet stream from a power head!

I had 2 of the hydor evolutions in my old tank (new one has closed loop) they were on a 30 sec wavemaker rotation and even then they made no noise at all.

please forgive my ignorance, and maybe I'm just getting tripped up on the verbiage... but what's the difference b/w a prop pump and a powerhead?

a reef keeper elite. basically it just cuts/restores the power to them to turn them off/on.

Koralia Nano on my BC29. Awesome little guy for $25 but considering an MP10 Overall I prefer props over powerheads for size and packaging. I want as little artificial aesthetic influence in my tank as possible.

impeller versus propeller water motion... external propellers put out greater range of wave versus a powerhead which has an impeller. the water is sucked in through an inlet and shot out through the outlet by the impeller and this is a 'powerhead'.
