Proflex model 1 vs EShopps RS75 for 54 corner? 1st sump and pump ideas?

Any users running the Aqueon Proflex model 1? Fish store said $180 out the door but
wanted to research. 54 corner has a option of Proflex 1 or Eshopps 75 sump (was looking for a 15High but they don't exist). Then I need to know the best size return and if my skimmer below will fit. I'm coming from HOB emperor and a canister prior so this is all new



Also want to run the sca 301 skimmer here
with a Rio 2100 return pump. Tank will be in living room, is Rio quiet? Can I
plumb with flex tubing? Any way to use ball valve with flex?
